Our Work

Check out what we’ve been up to around the Queen City.

Dialogue as a vehicle for transformation

Dialogue is powerful.  One of the big reasons why prejudice, stereotypes, institutionalized racism and bias continue to exist in our country is because we do not engage one another in honest conversations about the tough subjects of race, racism, bias, inclusion, equity and upward mobility said Corine Mack, President of the NAACP, Charlotte Chapter. This was part of the discussion of our August 20, 2017 panel which elicited a lot of strong interactions.

We will not overcome the challenges that face our city and our nation until we are willing to come to the table to ask each other the hard questions. And to sit at that table with a willingness to listen more than we speak. An openness learn more than we teach.

Your voice matters. Come to the table and let’s connect.
